Underneat was born in March 2025 from a moment of genuine frustration. When Kusha Kapila was exploring the shapewear and intimates market, she kept running into the same problem every Indian woman knows too well: everything felt designed for someone else’s body.

Around that time, she met Vimarsh Razdan, an apparel genius who had spent years studying fit, fabric, and how real bodies move.

One conversation turned into many, and they realised Indian women weren’t being offered solutions made for them. They were being offered compromises.
That’s when we decided to create Underneat – a brand that speaks to every part of what makes you, you.
