About UNITE | University & Industry
UNITE is a consulting company developed to help “unite” universities and industry partners. It was built by two higher education corporate engagement professionals to solve a problem experienced as practitioners. When implemented it accelerates the holistic corporate engagement effort within universities. UNITE has a three-ring offering:
1. A valuation tool and technology which enables universities to fully understand their corporate partnerships, who is strategic (and not). The "science" of corporate engagement.
• Resource allocation – which companies to focus on with lean teams
• Leadership reporting – visual tool to plot companies on a relationship continuum
• Moving the needle – progress evaluation and validation of work
2. A consistent, collaborative and continual system and playbook for managing corporate partnerships. The “how” and "art" of corporate engagement.
• Strategic engagement planning – identifying opportunities and building a plan
• Engagement team formation – collaboration with internal stakeholders
• External relationship management – working with companies
• Building collaborative and common goals
• Communication
3. University leadership alignment. Consulting coupled with the playbook for how to align leadership of your university around corporate engagement. When leadership is engaged, corporate engagement efforts are accelerated.
