United Way of Horry County envisions an equitable community where opportunity is not limited, and every member reaches their full potential.
Since its founding in 1973, United Way of Horry County has fought for the health, education, and financial stability of every person in our community no matter their identity, experience or background. We believe that being an inclusive organization and bringing diverse individuals together allows us to more equitably address the issues that face our community. We improve lives by mobilizing the caring power of our communities and this is most effectively accomplished when we are inclusive of all and value the unique perspectives a diverse base of agencies, volunteers, partners, employees, and board members bring to this invaluable work.
