The School of Social and Political Science is one of the largest schools in the
University of Edinburgh, with a community of more than 3,000 students and 400 staff.
Through our teaching and research, we are addressing many challenges facing society and impacting lives, from family, gender, race, health and mental health to politics, poverty, sustainability and technology. Our research and education interests are diverse but connected by a commitment to achieving societal benefits and addressing social inequalities.
We are also one of the largest and most successful centres for social and political science scholarship internationally. Our community is welcoming, inclusive and supportive, with staff and students from all around the world.
We provide a home and a space for them to develop and to make their own mark on society.
