About OPAD
The Organisation for Prosthetics and Assistive Devices, more commonly known as "OPAD", was born in 2016 at the University of Nottingham.
Registered as a society with the University's Student Union, OPAD's scope is far greater, bringing together students, academics and researchers from all backgrounds to jointly research, design and engineer assistive devices and solutions for healthcare projects as well as community partners.
OPAD is primarily student-run, and is headed up by a team of dedicated students and experienced University staff members that consistently deliver for registered society members as well as the wider OPAD community.
