Overview
About UR2PhD
The Computing Research Association’s UR2PhD program aims to increase the quality and scale of undergraduate research opportunities in order to close the gap between a first research experience and a successful PhD application.
UR2PhD offers new and existing researchers opportunities to develop their skills, while reducing the workload of faculty mentors. UR2PhD is proud to deliver two courses, including: an undergraduate research methods course that helps first-time researchers build practical and critical skills and a graduate student mentor training course that helps students provide culturally responsive mentorship. UR2PhD also hosts a series of workshops to increase students’ understanding of the graduate school application process, learn more about research pathways, and engage with active researchers.
