Overview

About Urantia Movement

The Urantia movement is a global spiritual and philosophical movement centered around the teachings of the Urantia Book, a large and complex text first published by the Urantia foundation in Chicago. The Urantia Book, which has no author, provides us a detailed account of the origins, structure, and purpose of the universe, along with teachings on spirituality, philosophy, history, science, and religion. It combines elements of
Christianity, science, and cosmology, presenting a unique view of God, the universe, and humanity’s role in it. The Urantia Movement supports all groups of the Urantia Organizations. The Urantia Movement has grown significantly with many separate organizations adopting the belief in the teachings of the Urantia Book. As each of us become more aware of the real meaning of life we all believe that the Urantia Book is indeed, the most
significant literary work of all time since the Bible. The Urantia Book was first published
in 1955, this was 70 years in advance of any concept of the technology available to everyone
in today’s global high-speed connectivity. Throughout the written text of the Urantia Book Publication, there are many references made to the fact that this critically important book was published years in advance of the internet, or before any concept of a globally connected world was available to everyone.
