Urban Research Foundation

Urban Research Foundation is a think-research-do tank focusing on Tier II and Tier III cities in India as they will be playing a key role in shaping India’s urban future. Hence, it is pertinent to make them future-proof to tackle the oncoming pressure of urbanization. URF’s journey began with citizen awareness and regional planning as its core principles. Thus, the use of local language, simplifying urban planning jargon, breaking down complex urban practices for the citizens, and building & analyzing regional datasets remains central to our work.
