The U.S. Probation Department is the community corrections arm of the federal court system. Our employees include probation officers, information technology specialists, budget and procurement personnel, human resources professionals, and support staff, all of whom are committed to protecting the public and assisting in the fair administration of justice.

The U.S. Probation Department for the Eastern District of New York services five counties located to the east and southeast of New York City, including: Kings County, Queens County, Richmond County, Nassau County and Suffolk County.
