UvA Institute for Advanced Study

The University of Amsterdam (UvA) has established its Institute for Advanced Study (IAS) to advance cutting-edge interdisciplinary research that addresses complex scientific and societal challenges. It brings together outstanding researchers from all fields to generate novel ideas, expand knowledge frontiers and develop new interdisciplinary research methods. The IAS runs a fellowship programme and initiates a variety of activities.
