University of Washington Graduate Program in Neuroscience

The Graduate Program in Neuroscience (GPN) at the University of Washington (UW) is an interdisciplinary Ph.D. program with approximately 70 current students, and more than 140 faculty members with appointments in 27 different academic departments and five partner institutes. Our program’s goal is to provide broad accessible training in neuroscience to our students, capitalizing on the diverse set of research interests of our faculty. The faculty members deliver outstanding graduate training in all areas of modern neuroscience. The study of neuroscience is one of the most exciting and challenging areas of human endeavor.
