Varley-McKay Art Foundation of Markham

The Varley-McKay Art Foundation of Markham ("the Foundation") supports the Varley Art Gallery of Markham through its activities and investments. The Foundation supports art acquisitions for, and the conservation of, the Varley Art Gallery's art collection, public and educational programs presented by the Varley Art Gallery, exhibition research and an energetic volunteer program.

The primary sources of funds are the McKay endowment proceeds for education and art acquisitions and our two main annual fundraising events: Vintages at the Varley held in April and our signature event, Rouge: Varley Gala held in October.

By supporting the Foundation you can build on our successes of assisting the Varley Art Gallery to present great exhibitions, acquire important art to enhance their collection, support innovative public programs and continue to shine as a cultural hub in the City of Markham.
