Overview

About Veterans Exploration Therapy

Veterans Exploration Therapy (VET) is a combat veteran-founded 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to helping veterans, service members, and their families heal through outdoor adventure. Since launching in 2022, we’ve run over 60 programs and served more than 600 veterans, using activities like rock climbing, skydiving, hiking, paddling, and mountain biking to foster resilience, mental well-being, and community.

Many veterans struggle with the transition to civilian life, and too often, traditional support systems fail them. We reach those who have fallen through the cracks, using outdoor recreation as a proven catalyst for healing. Our programs are designed to help veterans push past fear, regain confidence, and build meaningful connections—ensuring they never have to face life’s challenges alone.

We know that adventure has the power to save lives. By stepping outside their comfort zones and into the wild, veterans find renewed purpose, strength, and a support system that has their back.
