Ascension Via Christi

Serving Kansas for more than 135 years, Via Christi operates six hospitals and 75 other sites of care and employs more than 6,400 associates. In fiscal year 2024, Via Christi provided $62.4 million in community benefit, including care of persons living in poverty throughout the state. Via Christi is sponsored by Ascension, one of the nation’s leading non-profit and Catholic health systems, with a Mission of delivering compassionate, personalized care to all with special attention to persons living in poverty and those most vulnerable. In FY2024, Ascension provided $2.1 billion in care of persons living in poverty and other community benefit programs. Ascension includes approximately 131,000 associates, 37,000 affiliated providers and 136 hospitals, serving communities in 18 states and the District of Columbia.
