About W5 LIFE
In November 2022, The Odyssey Trust officially launched a new 20,000 sq. ft facility, W5 LIFE - Learning Innovation for Everyone, which is dedicated to addressing the skills requirements of Northern Ireland’s increasingly digitalised economy.
Promoting inclusion and diversity through immersive STEM-based experiences, W5 LIFE aims to provide wider access to skills training that leads to exciting career paths and employment opportunities and inspires a curiosity and passion for technology and lifelong learning.
W5 LIFE will continue our mission to ‘fire the spirit of discovery' through practical, industry-led programming, showcasing how the integration of technology will be at the core of the future of work, especially digitally and within STEM.
A range of programmes and activities have been developed specifically for this space, including collaborations with founding partners, Microsoft, Almac and Belfast Harbour, alongside other aligned providers and stakeholders.
Activities are delivered via a 9am–9pm model, with enhanced community, life-long learning and social inclusion programming as well as programmes targeting schools and young people.
