About WA Agricultural Research Collaboration

Western Australia's agricultural research and development capabilities are being reinvigorated through the WA Agricultural Research Collaboration.

The Collaboration brings together The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, Australia's national science agency CSIRO, Grower Group Alliance, and WA universities: Curtin, Edith Cowan, Murdoch, and The University of Western Australia.

The WA Agricultural Research Collaboration will apply cutting-edge science to WA's unique challenges and opportunities to future-proof the sector and position WA for more national research funding. It will create industry-based postgraduate scholarship opportunities for the next generation of leading scientists and support WA primary producers to adopt new technologies.
