Waelzholz is a global manufacturer of cold rolled steel materials headquartered in Hagen, Germany. As a medium-sized, independent family-owned business, we now have 2,300 employees worldwide. We annually produce 780,000 tons of high-quality steel strip and shaped wire for complex applications at locations in Europe, North and South America, and Asia. Drawing on more than 190 years of experience, we develop customized solutions for customers in the automotive, energy, and industrial goods industries. In this process, we advise customers at all stages of the value chain.

Whether high-strength, easy to form, or magnetizable – Waelzholz offers an extremely broad product range. In close cooperation with the customer, every material is tailored specifically to the final application. As a result, we create innovative steel strip solutions such as thin electrical steel strip for environmentally friendly electric drive systems and high-strength spring steel for seat belt systems.
