Dichtungstechnik Wallstabe & Schneider GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1960 by the Wallstabe and Schneider families in Niederwinkling, Eastern Bavaria, Germany. Today, more than 1000 people are employed worldwide. The annual turnover is around 210 million Euros. The company develops and produces precision seals such as O-rings, moulded seals and bonded parts. The necessary elastomer compounds are produced in-house with an own mixing facility. 90 percent of the customers are suppliers to the German and European automotive industry. The seals of Wallstabe & Schneider are installed in media-carrying cycles of vehicles like air conditioning, steering systems, automatic transmissions, fuel pumps and fuel tanks. The high competence in the development of rubber mixtures and part geometries as well as the excellent product quality according to ISO/TS 16949 make Wallstabe & Schneider a sought-after partner of the automotive industry. Since 2010, Wallstabe & Schneider has operated a production site in India as a joint venture and has had its own production plant in Mexico since 2013. With its foreign locations, Wallstabe & Schneider follows its customers into the growth markets overseas. Today, the company is managed by the managing partners Jürgen and Christian Wallstabe as well as the managing director (technical) Kai Peters.
