About Warley Rugby Club

Formed in 1970, Warley Rugby Football Club has been a proud member of our local community for over 45 years. Based in Warley, Sandwell. On the outskirts of Birmingham, West Midlands.

We hold close ties with the local council, schools and businesses. Working alongside them to provide local adults and children with an opportunity to play Rugby, have access to a range of sports facilities, and promote an active and healthy lifestyle.

Our coaching team are regularly involved with work in our local community. Coaching and promoting rugby to our Satellite Schools through session and workshops. With our facilities at Tat Bank Road hosting a number of events including the All Schools tournaments.

Currently providing participants opportunities to play for our Senior Male squad, playing in the Midlands Counties 4 West (South).

Club alumni include former Newcastle Falcons, London Scottish, London Welsh, Bedford Blues and current Ealing Tailfinders' prop James Hallam who was a product of our Youth system.

Warley RFC's social team run a number of events throughout the year including; Our legendary President's day, incorporating several matches of rugby, cask ale and cider tent, and kids activities. A family fun day with BBQ, kids activities and disco in the sunshine. Warley's Got Talent. Quiz & Curry nights. Christmas Eve Carol Shouting. Ending the year with the Generation Game, an inter-club under 30's vs Over 30's friendly.
