About WCIT Information Security Panel
Many Worshipful Company of Information Technologists (WCIT) members have various skills including those that are related to Information & Cyber Security and the panel is a growing network of like-minded individuals who have come together to promote the WCIT as an exemplar organisation to other City Livery Companies and Charitable Organisations providing leadership to the profession and establishing best practice for Information & Cyber Security across the WCIT four pillars, namely:
Education – Incorporating the broader skills and professionalism agendas to help livery members and the broader communities encompassed by our purpose, to understand the importance of Trust, Affordance, Agency & Cyber Security, on personal, enterprise & communal levels.
Industry – To act as ‘Agents for Change’ - bringing together Industry, Education, and Governmental agents to further the purpose of the panel.
Charity – To regularly contribute to the WCIT Charity funds through our fundraising & social activities. To support the city Livery and Charitable organisations with cyber security related activities.
Fellowship – To have an active and vibrant panel membership that collaborates to achieve our purpose and enjoy each other’s company in both panel oriented & regular social activities.
