WSLH PT History
The WSLH in WSLH PT stands for the Wisconsin State Laboratory of Hygiene, a national public health lab located in Madison, Wisconsin. In 1966, WSLH PT was developed by the Wisconsin State Lab of Hygiene to create proficiency testing programs that improved laboratory quality. Today, WSLH PT continues to provide a solid foundation for clinical laboratory improvement in all 50 states and around the world.

Clinical labs enroll in proficiency testing programs with WSLH PT. Calibration verification/linearity products, remedial testing, evaluation samples, and online training and competency courses are available throughout the year.

WSLH PT is approved by CMS, and accepted by CAP, COLA, and The Joint Commission. As part of our shared mission to improve the human condition, WSLH PT is also an affiliate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health.
