Overview
About xG-ALOE
The initiative xG-ALOE (Alliance for Open Enterprise Networks) aims to serve as a hub for innovation, knowledge sharing and collaboration in the field of Open RAN and Campus Networks. It offers enterprises - particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and start-ups - the opportunity to develop, test and validate their technologies and use cases.
Enterprises can use the test and demonstration infrastructure independently or in collaboration with academic and industrial partners. This enables them to explore new technologies, conduct feasibility studies and interoperability tests, and evaluate prototype components and services at an early stage.
This approach not only enhances the innovative capacity of individual enterprises but also fosters collaboration and knowledge transfer between different stakeholders. In addition, participating enterprises are kept informed about the latest developments and trends in 5G and 6G research.
The initiative will build further on the CampusOS results and is supported by Fraunhofer HHI as host.
