About XLVets Ireland
XLVets Ireland is a member-owned group of independent veterinary practices across the country. Each practice is locally owned and managed, with its independence at the heart of everything we do, and we work together to realise the clinical, economic, cultural and social potential of our members and their communities.
Established in 2010, XLVets is supported by an executive team based in Tipperary. Today, we have 30 member practices nationwide, including a mix of urban small-animal surgeries alongside rural mixed, equine, and agricultural practices. Our focus is on practical supports that help practices thrive. We work collaboratively to strengthen clinical outcomes while making the day-to-day running of a practice easier. Through business insights, new income opportunities, group buying power, training, mentoring, networking, marketing and HR resources, we help our members save time, improve performance and develop their teams.
With our training network, XLVets Skillnet, members can access high-quality, sector-led training and professional development tailored to the veterinary industry, helping teams stay current, build skills and strengthen the future of the sector. We also create opportunities for vets and practice teams to learn from one another, share experience and solve challenges together.
Having this range of programmes, services, initiatives and resources all in one place gives our members the opportunity and capability to focus on helping their practice meet its potential.
