About XR4Europe
XR4Europe is a pan-European association dedicated to uniting XR professionals, organisations, and initiatives across the continent. Our members include national and regional associations, universities and research institutions, companies large and small, entrepreneurs and creators.
XR4Europe traces its roots back to the EU-funded XR4ALL project, which ran from December 2018 to August 2020, after which XR4Europe was established as a non-profit association based in Brussels.
Presently, XR4Europe is a partner in the Horizon Europe projects XR4HUMAN and OPENVERSE, both of which have been designated as Coordination and Support Actions (CSAs) for the EU’s Initiative on Virtual Worlds and the future Virtual Worlds Partnership.
