About XTENDIT
Xtendit is an Extended Reality (XR) toolkit designed to enhance industrial training and operations through immersive, interactive knowledge sharing. By integrating XR technologies, cognitive ergonomics, and human factors, Xtendit improves skill development, making learning more effective both during onboarding and in daily operations. Operators can access contextualized multimedia content—notes, images, videos, and remote support—directly on machines and production lines, fostering a seamless and collaborative training experience. Xtendit helps streamline training, reduce costs, and minimize operational errors, while also making industrial workplaces more engaging for new generations. With an always-accessible knowledge base, it drives continuous learning, innovation, and long-term business competitiveness.
The Xtendit toolkit is an outgrowth of the Proxima project. The PROXIMA Project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation action programme, via the Open Call #1 – XR2Learn issued and executed under project XR2Learn (grant agreement Nr. 101092851)
