About Yale Child Study Center

The Yale Child Study Center (YCSC) has been serving children from birth through adolescence since 1911, with the central aim of improving the lives of children and families through research, clinical service, and training.

The YCSC serves as the Department of Child Psychiatry for the Yale School of Medicine and Yale New Haven Hospital, as well as a center for basic neurodevelopment and educational research. We are also engaged in our community with a variety of clinical services in clinic and community settings as well as in homes and pediatric practices.
