About YALI RLC EA - Alumni Chapter of Somalia
As an alumni-driven initiative, the YALI Regional Leadership Center East Africa - Alumni Chapter in Somalia is committed to promoting leadership development and positive transformation among the youth in the country. With representation from over 172 alumni from different regions across Somalia, the chapter aims to serve as an extension of the Regional Leadership Center East Africa in Nairobi, Kenya, by providing access to critical leadership development opportunities, mentorship, and networking for young people in Somalia.
The chapter's focus is on creating a sustainable future for Somalia by supporting the Center in promoting its programs, encouraging engagement, fellowship and collaboration among alumni, hosting and facilitating events and activities that develop and enhance the leadership skills of broader community members, helping recruit prospective applicants for future cohorts, and mobilizing alumni and prospective partners to fundraise for the YALI RLC East Africa program.
Through these initiatives, the YALI Regional Leadership Center East Africa - Alumni Chapter in Somalia is committed to empowering a new generation of leaders who will drive sustainable development and social progress in Somalia, contributing to the overall prosperity of the region. The chapter believes that by investing in the youth and nurturing their leadership potential, Somalia will be on a path to a brighter and more prosperous future.
