About YUVA VIKASH KENDRA
Founded in the 2014, Yuva Vikash Kendra has become a prominent name in social development in Tripura, concentrating on rural empowerment, education, and sustainable livelihoods. Recognized as the largest Gandhian Youth-Led Organization for Sustainable Development in the region, we have implemented numerous programs aimed at enhancing the skills and knowledge of marginalized communities, especially women.
Mission & Vision
Mission: To empower marginalized communities, particularly women and youth, by providing them with the skills, resources, and support necessary for their socio-economic enhancement.
Vision: A self-reliant society where rural citizens have the capabilities and resources to sustain their livelihoods without compromising ecological integrity.
Our Major Achievements are as follows:
3,000+ youth and women trained through skill & vocational training and employed or self-employed.
500+ artisans empowered through training and market access.
1,000+ farmers adopted sustainable farming practices.
Annual Heritage Fest has become a leading cultural event in Tripura.
National-level outreach programs through Sadbhavana Yatra and Environmental Campaigns.
