About YuWaah India at UNICEF
There are more than 350 million young people in India. 28% of the total population but 100% of the future.
YuWaah (Generation Unlimited in India), is a multi-stakeholder, Public Private Youth Partnership (PPYP) platform incubated within UNICEF, with the common goal of enabling India’s young people and connecting them to aspirational socio-economic opportunities and engaging them as active changemakers.
Since its launch in November 2019, YuWaah has built alliances with a range of stakeholders such as the Government, Civil Society, UN and other international organizations, the corporate sector and, of course, young people themselves. YuWaah is committed to partnering with, listening to, and amplifying the needs and aspirations of young people across governance, decision making, advocacy and initiatives, to enable #ImpactWithYouth
