A $425 million settlement has been granted final approval in the Capital One 360 Savings Account Interest Rate Litigation.
On April 20, 2026, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia approved a settlement on behalf of Capital One 360 Savings accountholders nationwide. The settlement provides expected relief of over $1.2 billion, including both cash payments to class members and a requirement that Capital One match interest rates on 360 Savings and 360 Performance Savings accounts.
The case alleged that Capital One failed to fairly increase interest rates for existing 360 Savings accountholders while offering higher rates to new customers through a nearly identical product.
