A #German tourist has won more than €900 in compensation after being unable to secure a poolside sun lounger during a family holiday in #Greece due to guests reserving seats with towels.
The court in Hanover ruled that the package holiday was “defective,” stating the tour operator had a responsibility to ensure a reasonable balance between guests and available loungers.
The family reportedly woke up at 6:00 AM daily but still could not access sunbeds, with children forced to sit on the floor. Judges awarded a refund of €986.70 after initially receiving only €350 from the operator.
