Arca Space Capital Acquires Rogelfrut to Build a Leading Artisanal Gelato Platform

Arca Space Capital’s acquisition of Rogelfrut is more than a stand-alone investment. It is the first move in a broader plan to build a leading platform in the artisanal gelato, pastry, and food and beverage ingredients market.

Ropes & Gray advised Arca Space Capital on the acquisition of Rogelfrut, an Italian leader in the production and distribution of fresh and frozen fruit-based ingredients.

The transaction was executed through Rover S.r.l., a vehicle controlled by Arca Space Capital, with historical shareholders Renato Bottasso and Gianpiero Boretto reinvesting and continuing to support the company’s next phase of growth.

The Ropes & Gray team was led by private equity partner Fabrizio Scaparro and counsel Paola Pagani and included Carlo Grisostomi Travaglini, Federica Giovannini, Niccolò Vernillo, and Lorenzo Russo.
