A new AAPI multimedia textbook, “Foundations and Futures,” covering more than 20 ethnic communities, is debuting after six years of production. The book contains videos, photos, audio clips, and high school and college lesson plans pulled from academic journals, studies, and university library stacks for the digital generation. “A lot of young people, of course, are really into TikTok videos and Instagram posts. So we thought, ‘Let’s leverage that.’” Covering the role of AANHPI communities in United States history, it is geared at high school students, college students, and their teachers. Read more here:
