From exercise groups to arts and crafts - we offer a variety of fun and engaging ways for older residents to stay active, socialise, and learn new skills in a safe and supportive environment.

💰 Council delivers social activities and other aged care services thanks to Federal Government funding of the Commonwealth Home Support Program (CHSP).

The Federal Government has committed to extending the CHSP to at least July 2027, however, the longer term future of this program is uncertain.

We call on the Government to recognise the program’s important role in caring for older community members and to commit to continuing funding the CHSP permanently.
