Job Description

  • Participation in the preparation of battery system requirements and specifications
  • Identify and resolve technical problems through strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Analyze and optimize electrified powertrain systems, including NMC/LFP battery technologies and Battery Management Systems (BMS)
  • Validate control algorithms for powertrain and energy management systems
  • Conduct diagnostics and manage communication networks such as CAN, LIN, and Ethernet
  • Utilize Vector CAN tools and Matlab-Simulink for system modeling, simulation, and testing
  • Perform data acquisition and analysis to support validation and verification activities
  • Drive innovation by proposing and developing new ideas in collaboration with cross-functional teams
  • Contribute to the improvement of cross-departmental processes in interdisciplinary environments
  • Support HV battery controls and functional safety activities
  • Ensuring development quality and defining respective measures (requirements engineering, review loops, document release, etc.

Profile Description

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Electrical / Electronics / Control / Mechatronics / Mechanical or Automotive Engineering
  • Preferably at least 3 years of experience in battery development or automotive systems
  • Fluent speaking and excellent writing skills in English (German would be a plus)
  • Willingness to frequent and long-term domestic and international travel
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
