Quail Ridge Golf Club Invests $1M in Year-Round Indoor Golf Facility

Longtime employees at Quail Ridge Golf Club who purchased the 18-hole course more than a year ago are investing $1 million to lean into a year-round business model.

Construction began in May on an indoor-outdoor golf facility called The Nest at Quail Ridge. The nearly 4,800-square-foot building is anticipated to open in October this year at the Cascade Township golf course.

The Nest will include eight total simulator bays equipped with Trackman 4 technology. The building will have motorized garage doors in front of the simulator bays for players to hit balls into Quail Ridge’s driving range, or into an impact screen when the doors are down. Two of the bays will be reserved for instructional training and club fitting.

The owners had been talking about ways to extend the golf club’s business into the winter months since 2021, Holmes said. The development will also support the increase in business the course has seen since the height of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 when many people turned to golf as an outdoor activity.
