Reflecting on Skoll World Forum: Trust, Risk, and Social Impact

We were thrilled to connect with so many members and partners at last month's Skoll World Forum and our member breakfast in Oxford.

Reflecting on an exhilarating week, a few topics stuck with us:️

🤝 Trust grows when people show competence, consistency, and genuine care—not self-interest.

🎲 We should explore why some work—like peacebuilding—is seen as “too risky” to fund, while traditional financial systems are often trusted without hesitation.

🚀 Are we using all the tools available to move capital where it’s needed most, including impact investments and creative funding approaches? (Re: Member Elizabeth Sheehan MPH in conversation with Skoll CEO Marla Blow)
