The Power of Direct Interaction: Understanding Products Beyond Photos

There is something that happens when someone picks up a product they've only ever seen in a photo.

Justin and Brittany drove out to Clinton for CANCON East earlier this month, the world's largest fully-suppressed range day with 40+ lanes, hundreds of firearms, and a community of people who know exactly what they want and exactly why.

Watching buyers move through that event was a reminder of something we think about a lot.

When someone interacts with a product this physically, this directly, they understand it differently. The weight, the mechanics, the feel of it in their hands. It does not just inform the decision. It becomes the decision.

The brands in this space know their buyers better than almost anyone. That depth of product knowledge, that intimacy with how a buyer relates to what they're holding... that's rare.

Our job is to make sure that same depth shows up when the buyer isn't on the range.
