Results across all users:
- Conversion rate: +0.80%
- Average order value: +1.14%
- ARPU: €9.28 → €9.46 (+1.95%)
All statistically significant. Mobile users loved it (+4.34% ARPU), desktop dipped slightly but not enough to worry.
Why it worked:
The badge screamed exclusivity without saying a word. Shoppers hunting deals zeroed in on highlighted items, skipping the endless scrolling. No more decision paralysis during flash sales. It nudged them from browser to buyer, fast.
But here's the twist: On desktop, where grids show everything at once, it sparked comparisons that killed momentum for some. Urgency shines brightest on mobile, where focus is king.
